When it comes to issues that have an impact on society and the environment, RAG adheres to the international ISO 26000 standard on social responsibility. We adopt an integrative approach, so our in-house CSR team comprises staff from various parts of the company, who have the expertise required to manage CSR-related areas of activity. The head of corporate communications coordinates the CSR team, with support from external consultants where required.
Measures implemented as part of our CSR-related initiatives are reviewed and evaluated at regular intervals to determine whether additional steps need to be taken. The department responsible for the area of activity in question has the task of implementing measures. All meetings and activities are logged and documented, enabling us to continuously improve our performance in terms of CSR.
The Executive Board receives regular updates on the progress of CSR-related measures and takes important strategic decisions.
