Michael Längle has been appointed Managing Director Finance and Accounting, Controlling and Planning as well as Human Resources, Procurement and IT w. e. o. April 1, 2011. In his previous function, Dr. Längle was Director of group functions Finance and Accounting at EVN AG. He started his professional career as university research assistant and, later on, as university lecture at the Vienna University of Business Administration and Economics, from where he moved on to auditing and tax consultancy. Having obtained professional qualifications to become tax consultant, Dr. Längle then changed over to the energy industry and joined EVN AG. Over the years, he held key commercial functions and made a significant contribution to the development of the company, in particular regarding its internationalisation and diversification.
Michael Längle holds a degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Business Administration und Economics.
