RAG is one of Austria's 5 best workplaces!
Our company is one of Austria’s most attractive companies. For the second time after 2008, RAG participated in the annual "Great Place to Work" competition and made it to the TOP 5 this year! In the category starting from 250 employees we were measured by companies including Microsoft, T-Mobile or Mobilkom Austria !

Those are just a few of the 90 exclusively positive employee comments given by RAG staff during an online survey on the Great Place to Work Competition 2010. Their statements explain by themselves why RAG has again made it to the circle of Austria’s best employers. „It goes without saying that we are very proud of this“, says Markus Mitteregger, „but even more than of winning an award are we proud of the fact that we have succeeded in transporting the ‚RAG spirit’ to all of our new staff members.“ After all, RAG’s headcount has more than doubled over the past years.
Let us start out by putting the essence of the survey outcome up front: 92 % of our employees have stated „All in all I have to say that this is a very fine workplace“!
Nevertheless – and although the results of the survey are outstandingly positive – we have critically reviewed them to find out where there may be further need for improvement.
Absolute top values, which were even substantially above the benchmark set by the TOP 5 participating companies, were achieved by RAG in questions such as „Are management’s business practices honest and ethically justifiable“ as well as all other questions relating to „pride“. It has turned out that RAG’s employees are very proud of their company, of what has been and is achieved jointly and that they can make a significant contribution in this respect. 92 % of employees are proud to tell others that they work at RAG.
