A major part of RAG’s efforts to promote junior employees is to contact or support them already during their vocational training.
An internship helps you to
- get to know the company
- get an insight into your future work environment
- gain practical experience to facilitate your entry into professional life later on
In 2009, 42 young people took the opportunity of internships in Vienna, Upper Austria and Zistersdorf.
We offer internships between July and September, lasting from 1 - 3 months.
Exception: Students of the Mining University can take their internships also during the Easter break.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Enrolment at:
- Universities: Mining University Leoben, Vienna University - geology, geophysics
- Universities of Applied Sciences
- Secondary vocational schools, e.g. Handelsschule, Handelsakademie
- Secondary colleges of engineering, social and services sector (HBLA, HTL)
- Written application including CV, confirmation of enrolment and university/school certificates by end of February of the year in which you plan to take your internship.
Confirmations of acceptance are sent out in March/April of each year as agreed with the department in charge.
