Storage fee calculator

Print

Our storage services are defined by the following key points:

  • Injection capacity equals withdrawal capacity
  • The minimum capacities are 10 MW or 894 m³/h
  • The volume injected equlas the volume withdrawn (= working gas volume)
  • The maximum working gas volume for the storage services with a contractual duration of more than four months is calculated as follows: withdrawal rate x 24 h x 70 days
  • The delivery point for injection and withdrawal is the respective metering station at the border to the Control Area East. Alternatively, a delivery point into the international grid at Baumgarten or Oberkappel may be defined.

The storage fee calculator below calculates fees for long-term storage services. The fee for this services (excluding VAT and including fuel gas) is calculated using the following formula:

Fy = WITH x 159

Fy = Fee per year in EURO exclusive of VAT and inclusive of fuel gas
WITH = Withdrawal capacity (withdrawal rate) in  m3/h

The above indicated fee is based on the figures as per January 2012 and will be  regularly cheked and if necessary adjusted by RAG.

The storage fees for short- and medium -term services are published in the cost-free internet based system store quick "FIVE".
