Joint Venture underground gas storage facilities

As part of joint venture projects RAG develops and operates under its sole technical responsibility two underground gas storage facilities for its partners. After their completion the underground gas storage facilities Haidach and 7Fields will provide a considerable contribution to security of supply, as they will hold a total working volume of around 4.7 billion cubic metres of natural gas.

Haidach

The Haidach underground gas storage facility is a two-stage joint venture project between RAG, its Russian partner, Gazprom export, and its German partner, Wingas GmbH & Co. KG.

7Fields

The 7Fields underground gas storage facility is a joint venture project of RAG and its German partner E.ON Gas Storage GmbH (EGS).
