Drilling Crew

Our identical constructed Rig´s E-200 and E-202 are operated by two rig crews. One crew consists of two drilling supervisors, 5 x 4-men shifts, the stop gap crew and maintenance. Smooth drilling operations around the clock are ensured.

• 300 tons maximum hook load
• 5,500 meters maximum drilling depth

Rig safety

Both of our drilling rigs are computer-monitored. Therefore we are able to immediately identify malfunctions and initiate corrective actions.

Drilling operations are unlimited certified according to international SCC** standard for health, safety, and environmental protection. Once a year complete drilling operations are inspected by an independent authorized certification institute.

Mud pumps

• 2 IDECO mud pumps MM-700
• 2,000 l/m maximum rate
• 200 bars maximum pressure
• Power supply: one 800 HP caterpillar diesel or gas engine each

Mud system, mud treatment, solids separation

• ISO container modules (8 transport units)
• 100 m³ max. mud volume in 6 chambers
• conical tank-chambers with submersible agitators
• all flow lines and valves are outside the chambers, no internal flow lines inside the chambers
• integrated Trip tank, Poor Boy and Vacuum Degasser
• 2 Cutting containers á 35m³
• 2 Derrick Shale-shakers, Hydro cyclones
• 1 Hiller-Centrifuge for Barite recovery
• 1 Flottweg-Centrifuge and a Flocculation-Container (see also "waste free drilling concept")
• the entire tank system is automated, monitored and via WinCC visualized and controlled

Power supply

• The Drilling rig, one pump motor as well as the emergency power generator unit are powered by diesel
• Power generator units and the main pump motor are driven by CNG (compressed natural gas) coming from RAG´s own gas production and is transported to location with gas trailers

Noise protection

In order to comply with the statutory noise protection limits of 45 dB(A) at night and 55 dB(A) during the day all facilities and units are noise-protected. Furthermore 5 m or 11 m high noise protection walls can be aligned around the drilling location.
